It does not require inflation or pre-filling with water, making it a practical solution when rapid deployment and long runs of flood protection are required.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBefore flooding begins, the flexible barrier is unfolded across the desired path and its front opening is propped up to receive water. As floodwater flows into the chambers, water pressure opens the barrier into a V-shape and provides the ballast needed to hold it in position.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA weighted front strip, reinforced internal partitions, embedded flotation section and non-slip underside work together to improve stability. The flexible PVC construction allows Stingray to conform to different surfaces and changes in terrain.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIndividual sections connect using industrial-strength hook-and-loop closures, allowing multiple units to form longer flood walls or protective perimeters.
