More Prepared Staff

More Prepared was started by two moms who saw the need for quality emergency kits at their preschool children's schools. Living in southern California meant that they were required to send an emergency kit back to school with their student each fall. When they weren't readily available at their local stores, the idea was born to provide them for busy parents. Hurricane Katrina made landfall two weeks after the website launched, and the business grew from there.

Our Team

Mina Arnao
Mina Arnao is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer overseeing all aspects of sales, finance, and marketing, as well as strategic development and collaborative partnerships. She has secured contracts with federal and state government agencies, as well as private corporations, to support their emergency preparedness and response initiatives. Before starting More Prepared, she was a Certified Public Accountant at Ernst & Young with 10+ year career in corporate finance at several major Hollywood studios.
Cindy Owings
Cindy Owings is the co-founder and Vice President of Operations managing the company's day-to-day operations, including procurement and sourcing. She coordinates warehouse, production, shipping, receiving, and inventory activities, as well as leads the company’s human resources and administrative functions ensuring efficiency across all departments.
