Shipping Policy

1. Order Processing & Ground Shipping (U.S.)
Most in-stock orders ship within 1 business day from our warehouse in Torrance, California. If an item is on backorder or requires additional processing time, we will notify you promptly. Estimated transit times (business days after shipment) are as follows: Southern California: 1 business day; Northern California: 2 business days; Eastern United States: up to 5 business days. Orders shipping to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses are sent via USPS Priority Mail, as UPS does not deliver to these locations.

2. Local Warehouse Pickup (Southern California)
Customers may select Store Pickup at checkout at no additional charge. Orders are typically ready within 24–48 hours. Pickup location is our Torrance, CA warehouse, and pickup hours are Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (PST). Please bring your order number or confirmation email at pickup. If your order is urgent, you may note this at checkout and we will accommodate when possible.

3. Freight Shipping (Large or Palletized Orders)
Orders exceeding approximately 150 lbs are shipped via freight truck on a pallet. Optional freight services, available upon request and subject to additional cost, include lift gate service, inside delivery, and white-glove delivery (including un-palletizing and debris removal). If any of these services are required, please notify us prior to shipment so we can provide an accurate quote and avoid delivery delays.

4. International Shipping
We ship to the United States and Canada via UPS, USPS, or DHL. Duties, taxes, and customs fees are the responsibility of the customer. Freight shipments to Canada may require a customs broker. For destinations outside the U.S. and Canada, please contact us at 888-733-7245 or quotes@moreprepared.com
 to request a custom shipping quote. All international payments must be made in U.S. dollars.

5. Delivery Location Requirements & Special Conditions
Certain delivery locations may incur additional freight surcharges, including but not limited to government facilities, military bases, airports, correctional facilities, churches, and secured campuses. If your delivery location requires a Certificate of Insurance (COI) or other documentation, please notify us as early as possible. Additional fees may apply depending on requirements. During emergencies or disaster-related events, shipping timelines may be affected due to supply chain constraints. Customers may request a full refund for urgent orders that cannot be fulfilled within required timeframes.

6. Shipping Estimates at Checkout
In some cases, shipping estimates calculated at checkout, particularly for large, heavy, or multi-box orders, may be higher than necessary. If you believe your shipping charge appears unusually high, please contact us at 888-733-7245 or quotes@moreprepared.com. We are happy to review the shipment and provide a revised quote when appropriate.
