For home use — the rule of thumb is 1 gallon per person per day.
- For 1 person, 1 barrel will cover 55 days
- For a family of 4, 1 barrel will cover about 14 days and 2 barrels will cover about 27 days
- For larger groups, a 2-barrel bundle will cover 4 people for 27 days or 10 people for 11 days
- A 4-barrel bundle will cover 4 people for 55 days or 20 people for 11 days
- An 8-barrel bundle will cover 4 people for 110 days or 40 people for 11 days

How does pallet/freight shipping work?
Bundles of 2+ barrels ship via LTL freight on a pallet. A liftgate truck delivers to your curb, parking lot, or driveway — no loading dock needed. You move the barrels from pallet to final location (a hand truck helps but not necessary as the barrels are lightweight). Freight rate is calculated at checkout based on your ZIP.
Do you deliver locally in Southern California?
Yes — local delivery is available throughout greater LA and SoCal, typically at a lower cost than freight. Select at checkout or call us at 888.733.7245.
Can I pick up locally?
Yes. Will-call pickup at our Torrance, CA warehouse (635 Hawaii Avenue). Order online and select the Store Pickup option at checkout or stop by to purchase.
