I bought some Mountain House when CoVid looked to get really bad. We ate our first pouch of Biscuits & Gravy this AM because we are taking tent trip to FL vs staying in motels. We followed directions—let it sit the required time-and were very pleasantly surprised at the taste and texture of the contents. The milk used does not taste like evaporated milk—the biscuits had larger, still sort of firm, and smaller ones that definitely were soft but the combination was very good. I make biscuits and gravy w/bacon and don’t care for sausage but that taste was not very strong—which was good for us.
We definitely will eat this for breakfast on our trip. The pouch did have enough for two people of average appetite.
