The Scout Motto is “Be Prepared”. Scouts BSA exposes scouts to a unique hands-on learning experience and the opportunity to earn merit badges reflecting each Scout’s budding interests. In order to accomplish their goals, scouts need funding for supplies to begin their work.

We’re living in unprecedented times. If the pandemic, wildfires, hurricanes and wind storms have taught us anything, it’s that we need to be proactive and Be Prepared for emergencies.

Welcome to the Scouts BSA – Troop 73 Emergency Preparedness Fundraiser which will help prepare your family at home, at work and school for an emergency or natural disaster.  Our goal is to help family and friends be prepared to survive and recover quickly. As such, we’ve partnered with More Prepared to provide you with high quality, comprehensive survival kits, long-term food and water storage solutions for your family and even your furry friends. 

­On this page you will find some products that we recommend to help you get started but you are free to shop anywhere on the site. Just make sure to use the promo code specific to the scout who referred you (see list below) at checkout.

Each of the kits offered:

• Contains food, water and supplies for 72 hours per person
• Has a 5 year shelf-life
• Is delivered directly to your home or office or save on shipping with curbside pickup

20% of all regularly priced items will be donated to your scout. Proceeds will provide critical funding to enrich each youth’s education.
