Emergency water preserver concentrate for treating and purifying large amounts of water for emergency storage.

Details

Emergency purification concentrate for treating large amounts of water for emergency storage. Use this 55-Gallon Water Preserver Concentrate with tap water to store emergency drinking water for 5 years. This rigorously tested water stabilizer for storage is a proprietary formula of stabilized, ph-balanced sodium hypochlorite with highly effective residual action that kills bacteria, viruses, mold, and fungus.


Water preserver concentrate to be used with a 55 gallon water barrel. For smaller containers, use 8 drops per gallon. If the water is cloudy, increase to 16 drops per gallon.

Directions:

1. Read bottle label carefully. Do not get Concentrate on skin or clothing.

2. Check "use by" date (EXP MO/YR) on bottom of bottle. Do not use Concentrate after "use by" date.

3. Rinse out storage container with visibly clear tap water.

4. Remove safety seal from Water Preserver cap. Do not use if safety seal is broken or missing.

5. Add Water Preserver Concentrate according to the following container sizes:

FOR CONTAINERS LESS THAN 55 GALLONS:
a) Add eight (8) drops of Water Preserver to an empty container for each gallon of water.
b) Fill container with visibly clear tap water to 1-2 inches below the opening.
c) Cap container tightly.
d) Five-year storage begins when Water Preserver concentrate is added to water. Go to step 6.

FOR 55-GALLON DRUMS:
a) Carefully remove the Water Preserver dropper tip by carefully pushing the tip sideways.
b) Empty the entire contents of a 0.73 oz. (22 ml) bottle of Water Preserver into the storage drum.
c) Fill drum with visibly clear tap water to 1-3 inches below the opening.
d) Close drum tightly. (Do not hand tighten plugs, use a bung wrench).
e) Five-year storage begins when Water Preserver concentrate is added to water. Go to step 6.

FOR CONTAINERS MORE THAN 55 GALLONS:
a) Calculate the number of bottles of Water Preserver needed to treat water in your size container. Enter container size in formula below:
Container size: ( ) Gallons / 55 Gals. = Number of bottles required.
Example: 250 Gallons / 55 Gals = 4.54 bottles of Water Preserver required. Round up result to the next whole bottle. Result = 5 bottles are required.
b) Carefully remove the Water Preserver dropper tip by carefully pushing the tip sideways.
c) Empty the entire contents of each 0.73 oz. (22 ml) bottle of Water Preserver into the storage container.
d) Fill container with visibly clear tap water to 1-2 inches below the opening.
e) Close drum tightly. (For plugs, use a bung wrench, do not hand tighten).
f) Five-year storage begins when Water Preserver concentrate is added to water. Go to step 6.

6. After closing container, invert or tip container several times to wet all inside surfaces of the container, if practical.

7. Write date of water preparation on the outside of the container and make a note to empty container and retreat water five years after date of preparation.
