Collection: MCI Response Systems

MCI response systems provide organized, deployable equipment for trained teams managing triage, treatment, transport, responder roles, and incident documentation during multi-casualty operations.

Choose a portable go-kit for individual or small-team deployment, or a larger rolling system for expanded and multi-agency response. These are operational patient-management systems rather than general-purpose medical trauma kits. For trauma supply kits, visit our Trauma & First Responder Kits collection.

Choosing an MCI Response System

Mass-casualty incident systems help responders organize the operational stages of patient management, including initial triage, treatment-area coordination, patient movement, responder identification, and documentation. Product configurations vary, so review each contents list carefully against your organization’s procedures and equipment requirements.

Portable MCI Go-Kits

The EMT3 Tactical Go-Kit and 8 Position MCI Go-Kit provide portable organizational tools for responders who must establish an initial triage and patient-management capability at an incident location.

Portable systems are appropriate for individual responders, small teams, vehicles, mobile units, and facilities that need equipment that can be carried directly to the response area.

Expanded Rapid Response Systems

The 9 Position and 13 Position Rapid Response Kits provide larger, rolling configurations for organizations coordinating more responders, functional assignments, or treatment areas. These systems are intended for expanded incidents, planned events, multi-agency exercises, and organizations maintaining a centralized MCI response capability.

Planning and Equipment Selection

Before selecting a system, consider the expected number of responders, assigned roles, treatment-area plan, patient-tracking method, transport procedures, mutual-aid relationships, training program, and existing medical equipment.

MCI organizational systems do not replace required patient-care supplies, professional training, medical direction, or an established emergency-response plan. Products should be selected and used according to organizational procedures and manufacturer instructions.
