Custom Kit Portfolio

Intro:

The following represents a selection of custom kit orders fulfilled by More Prepared since 2005. Organization names are withheld where confidentiality is appropriate. These examples illustrate the range of custom kitting work we have completed for government agencies, school districts, universities, public health organizations, and federal entities — including complex multi-site, multi-category, and large-scale fulfillment orders.

Our Approach to Fulfillment

More Prepared treats every custom kit order as a logistics project, not just a product order. For each engagement we collect detailed receiver information — including contact information, delivery hours, access requirements, gate codes, loading dock availability, holiday schedules, and any special instructions — to ensure a smooth, efficient delivery experience for every location.

Where needed, we segregate, box, palletize, and label supplies by location, school, department, or building to minimize the burden on warehouse staff, safety coordinators, and the personnel responsible for internal distribution. Our goal is to deliver kits in a condition and format that saves your team time from the moment the shipment arrives.

This attention to fulfillment detail is not a service add-on — it is part of how we operate on every order.

Multi-Site & Distributed Fulfillment

These orders required coordination of delivery across multiple locations, facilities, or sites — a fulfillment capability More Prepared has developed and refined across more than two decades of institutional kit orders.

Large California School District — 34-Site Delivery with On-Site Labor & 5-Year Replenishment

One of the most operationally complex orders in More Prepared's history. Custom emergency kits were assembled for a large California school district and delivered to 34 individual sites, along with food and water pallets delivered directly to on-site storage containers at each location. More Prepared staff met delivery trucks at each site and handled the physical labor of moving pallets into storage containers — going well beyond standard delivery to ensure correct placement and accountability at every location.

Five years later, More Prepared returned to replenish all supplies that had reached or were approaching expiration. The replenishment project included coordinating the pickup of near-expired food and water by charitable organizations for donation — ensuring no usable supplies went to waste while bringing every site back to full preparedness standard. This engagement represents the full lifecycle of a custom kit program: initial build, multi-site delivery, on-site labor, and long-term replenishment planning.

Oregon County Health Department — 1,423 Food, Survival & Medical Kits to 600+ Locations

Custom kits containing food, survival, and medical supplies assembled and distributed to more than 600 individual locations across a county health department's service area — one of the most geographically distributed fulfillments in More Prepared's history, requiring precise kit-level delivery coordination across an extensive location network. Receiver information was collected for each location prior to delivery to ensure smooth site-by-site fulfillment.

California Nonprofit School Agency — 186 Kits in Wheeled Bins Delivered via Pallet to 97 Locations

Emergency kits assembled in wheeled bins and delivered via pallet to 97 individual locations for a California nonprofit school agency. Each location received a pallet delivery requiring individual scheduling, receiver coordination, and logistics management — demonstrating More Prepared's ability to manage high-location-count pallet fulfillment where per-location logistics complexity far exceeds that of a standard parcel shipment.

Large California City/County Agency — Multiple Kit Types Across 16 Locations

This client engaged More Prepared for two separate large-scale orders. The first order consisted of 375 large wheeled bin school kits and 2,700 CERT kits delivered across 16 locations. Building on that successful engagement, the same client subsequently ordered 4,800 personal preparedness kits also delivered across 16 locations — representing a sustained multi-order institutional relationship with complex multi-site fulfillment requirements across different kit types and delivery configurations.

Federal Agency — 173 Shelter-in-Place Kits to 53 Locations with White Glove Delivery & Full Replenishment

More Prepared assembled 173 shelter-in-place kits in configurations ranging from 5-person to 70-person capacity — requiring individualized kit sizing for each location based on occupancy rather than a single standard configuration — and coordinated delivery across 53 federal agency locations. The complexity of this order extended well beyond standard fulfillment: each location required individual shipping coordination, and many locations required inside delivery and white glove service to place supplies in designated storage areas within the facility. Receiver information was collected for each of the 53 locations prior to scheduling to ensure smooth, accountable delivery at every site.

Six years after the original deployment, More Prepared was engaged by the same agency to perform a full replenishment of all 53 locations — replacing expired and consumed supplies across the entire kit inventory. This engagement reflects the kind of long-term institutional relationship and lifecycle preparedness support that More Prepared provides to federal agency customers, and demonstrates the company's ability to maintain accurate records and kit knowledge across extended contract periods to support accurate replenishment years after the original build.

Large New Mexico School District — 7,101 Classroom Lockdown Kits to 140 Locations

Classroom lockdown kits configured to district specifications and delivered to 140 individual school locations — requiring precise per-location kit allocation, palletization by site, and coordinated delivery scheduling across a large geographic footprint. Receiver information was collected for each location prior to delivery to ensure efficient site-by-site fulfillment.

University in Washington State — Multi-Year Emergency Kit Contract, 10 Locations Annually

Tens of thousands of one-day emergency preparedness kits assembled and delivered annually across 10 campus locations for incoming freshman distribution — one of More Prepared's longest-running institutional kit contracts, requiring consistent annual fulfillment at scale with per-location delivery coordination maintained across multiple contract years.

Large California School District — Multi-Category District-Wide Kit Build, Palletized by School

Custom kits assembled across four categories — food, water, tools, and medical supplies — with configurations based on headcount for each school in the district. Rather than shipping a uniform kit to every location, each school received a configuration sized specifically to its population.

Kits were packed and palletized by individual school prior to delivery, allowing district warehouse staff to receive, identify, and distribute each school's allocation without any additional sorting or repackaging on their end. This fulfillment format was designed specifically to minimize the administrative and physical burden on the district personnel responsible for internal distribution — a standard part of how More Prepared approaches complex institutional kit builds.

Delivered to a single district warehouse location for subsequent internal distribution across campuses.

U.S. Navy — 232 Custom Emergency Kits in Wheeled Bins to 6 Locations

More Prepared assembled 232 custom emergency kits in large wheeled bin configurations and coordinated delivery across 6 Navy installation locations — requiring precise kit configuration to military specifications, wheeled bin container selection, and multi-site delivery coordination including compliance with installation access and security requirements at each location. This engagement established the kit standard and supplier relationship that subsequently led to the 8,160-unit replenishment order, demonstrating More Prepared's ability to support the complete kit lifecycle for military customers from initial custom build through large-scale long-term replenishment.
