Eye protection is a standard component of personal protective equipment for CERT teams, workplace first responders, and facility safety staff — providing critical protection against debris, dust, chemical splash, and airborne particles during emergency response operations and post-disaster cleanup. More Prepared carries safety glasses and protective goggles in configurations suited for individual kit inclusion, agency supply stations, and bulk deployment programs.

Safety Glasses

Standard safety glasses provide impact and debris protection for general emergency response applications — a required component of CERT personal protective equipment and a standard addition to workplace emergency response kits. Our safety glasses selection includes standard wraparound configurations for general use and Wolverine branded safety glasses for a premium, recognized brand option. All safety glasses meet ANSI Z87.1 impact protection standards.

Over-the-Glass Eyewear

Over-the-glass safety eyewear is designed to fit over standard prescription eyeglasses — an important consideration for agencies and school districts where a significant portion of staff and responders wear corrective lenses. OTG safety glasses ensure that prescription eyeglass wearers have access to appropriate eye protection without requiring them to remove their corrective lenses during emergency operations.

Protective Goggles

Protective goggles provide a higher level of eye protection than safety glasses for scenarios requiring full eye enclosure. Perforated goggles allow airflow while providing impact and debris protection for general field operations. Chemical splash goggles provide a sealed barrier against liquid chemical exposure — appropriate for decontamination operations, hazardous material handling, and facility cleaning scenarios where splash exposure is a risk.

All safety eyewear is available individually and in bulk quantities appropriate for agency-wide deployment and kit inclusion. Volume pricing is available for school districts and government agencies purchasing in quantity.
