Barracuda devices are designed to secure doors in an emergency situation.  In some jurisdictions, door blocking devices may be regulated under safety and building codes. 

**DSO-1 is designed for commercial doors that are 36”wide.  Occasionally the claw will not reach the handle on the door, therefore, a PB will be needed to claw into, or a DSO-2 which actually has a longer claw available.

The user positions the unit so the stabilizing bar rests firmly against the door jamb on either side, while the integrated hook engages the door handle. The specially designed hook is compatible with a wide range of handle types. Once in place, the system is secured by simply turning the handle until snug, instantly reinforcing the entry point against forced access.

Unlike permanent locking hardware, this system is free-standing and requires no installation, drilling, or maintenance. It can be quickly moved between different access points as needed, making it a flexible solution for schools, offices, commercial buildings, and emergency lockdown preparedness plans.

Product Overview:
This heavy-duty alloy steel mounting cleat is designed to enhance entryway security during lockouts or emergency active shooter situations.

• Primary Function: It acts as an optional door glass accessory used alongside the Barracuda Model DSO-1 barricade system.
• Application: It is installed on commercial doors containing windows or side lights. It takes the place of standard door handles, allowing the main barricade bar to lock into position away from the glass where an intruder could potentially break the window to access the handle.
