Barracuda™ Intruder Defense System – Outward Swing Door Security Lockdown Device

If you plan to utilize, and install a Barracuda Defense System, it is recommended to check with your local fire marshal or building authority.

Barracuda devices are designed to secure doors in an emergency situation.  In some jurisdictions, door blocking devices may be regulated under safety and building codes. 

**DSO is dependent on best fit.  DSO-1 is for a door jamb up to  5 and ¾. 
**If the door jamb is larger than that, you will need the DSO-2.

The user positions the unit so the stabilizing bar rests firmly against the door jamb on either side, while the integrated hook engages the door handle. The specially designed hook is compatible with a wide range of handle types. Once in place, the system is secured by simply turning the handle until snug, instantly reinforcing the entry point against forced access.

Unlike permanent locking hardware, this system is free-standing and requires no installation, drilling, or maintenance. It can be quickly moved between different access points as needed, making it a flexible solution for schools, offices, commercial buildings, and emergency lockdown preparedness plans.
