This add-on is intended for individuals and families who have already purchased a More Prepared home or backpack emergency kit and need to expand coverage for additional household members. It is commonly used by households with an odd number of members, families that have grown since their original kit purchase, or anyone who wants to customize their preparedness level without replacing their existing kit.

One Extra Person Kit adds 72-hour coverage for one additional person. Add as many as needed to reach your target household size.

Also suitable for organizations and agencies looking to supplement existing emergency supplies for individual employees or household members. Purchase orders and tax-exempt orders accepted.

Emergency food bars and water pouches are sealed for long-term storage with shelf lives of up to five years. The thermal blanket and poncho are reusable and should be inspected periodically for damage.

When food and water components expire, a 1-Person 5-Year Replenishment Kit can be used to replace consumable items while keeping the reusable components. The resealable bag keeps contents organized and protected when stored alongside your base kit.

Yes. The Extra Person Kit includes a standard 2400-calorie SOS food bar with individually wrapped 400-calorie segments, consistent with the standard configuration of our base kits.

What is the shelf life of the food and water in this kit?
Food bars and water pouches have shelf lives of up to five years. When these expire, a 1-Person 5-Year Replenishment Kit can be used to replace consumable components.

Can I add this to a Premium kit with Millennium Bars?
Yes. If you have a Premium kit with Millennium Bars and want consistent food components, you can separately purchase Millennium bars to replace the standard food bar included in this add-on.
