Important: Corner units must be matched to Stingray straight sections of the same protection height. This product is a corner component and is not a standalone flood barrier.

Before deployment, determine whether the barrier layout requires an inward or outward 90-degree turn. Select a corner unit with the same protection height as the adjoining Stingray™ straight sections.

Unroll the corner unit on a reasonably smooth surface and orient it toward the expected direction of approaching water. Align both ends with the adjoining Stingray barriers and fully secure the industrial-strength hook-and-loop connections.

Smooth the barrier and remove folds, twists, sharp objects, and debris from underneath it. Position the weighted leading edge toward the approaching water. Where surface conditions permit, use the rear flap and grommet holes to help secure the system.

Before a flood event, inspect the complete layout to confirm that:

• The corner is facing the correct direction
• All connected sections have the same protection height
• Hook-and-loop connections are fully secured
• The barrier has a clear path to rise
• Water cannot easily bypass the ends of the system

As floodwater enters the barrier pocket, the flotation section rises and opens the dam while the accumulating water provides ballast.

After use, clean and inspect the corner unit, allow it to dry completely, and roll it for storage according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Never store the barrier while wet or contaminated.

Is this a complete flood barrier?

No. This is a 90-degree corner component designed to connect compatible Stingray straight barrier sections. The adjoining straight sections are sold separately.

Which height should I order?

Choose the same protection height as your Stingray straight sections. A 20-inch corner connects to 20-inch sections, a 30-inch corner to 30-inch sections, and a 48-inch corner to 48-inch sections.

What is the difference between an inward and outward corner?

They turn the barrier in opposite directions. Because the correct choice depends on the direction of approaching water and the shape of the protected area, refer to the product images or an overhead site plan before ordering.

Can I connect different Stingray heights at a corner?

No. The corner unit and adjoining straight sections should have the same protection height.

Does the corner need to be filled?

No. The Stingray system does not require filling with water, air, or sand. Floodwater enters the barrier pocket and raises the flotation section into position.

How does the corner connect to the straight barriers?

Can the corner be reused?
